Gold Winner for The Daily Click "Hi-Score Mashup " Jam 2022.
The theme of the game jam was to take characters or concepts from games in Kliktopia's Clickteam Game Demo Collection and mash them up into a brand new game.
I chose the game "Hungry Hedgehogs," which was a basic hedgehog themed math demo that shipped with Klik & Play in 1994, involving numbers and strange noises.
From that baseline, I created a new game, in a world where the hedgehogs can no longer afford food, and must go to work in dangerous mathematic mines on alien planets to pay the bills.

If you want to play the original unmodified jam submission from 11/20/22, download Hungry Hedgehogs 1.0, otherwise download the latest version.
Extract all files to a folder and run!
